Isolated Negligence: Our Next Release

Up next on Ducale is a 3 track EP from co-founder Strangebound. The club ready EP features the A side "Take Me Back In Time" as well as 2 following B sides in "Siren's Lore" and "UR F*kt". In order to explain the emotions and creative direction behind the music, we sat down with Strangebound, who shared his ideology behind his process during this release.

When he made the track "Take Me Back In Time", it was while holidaying in Corfu. A late summer's evening gave him time to think about the good and bad times of the past. It was his first year of sobriety and when he first began to reflect, he felt a sense of regret. With this song, he found a way to release these emotions that had once suppressed him. It reminded him that times are changing, so said Bob Dylan. It gave him the impetus to feel present and enjoy the time he has now.

With the soulful energy throughout Take Me Back In Time, Strangebound draws the ill from his mind, spilling the doubts and fears into the listener's lap. The sounds within each different song paint the mise-en-scene within his head from past memories. He hopes that people will relate to his hardship and feel it within themselves to open up about their feelings.
